Interstellar ramblings

I had one of those starry nightmares again. This time Earth started floating out into space, or maybe to another region of the Milky Way galaxy. The constellation visible in the night sky remained the same for a few days but before long it invariably morphed into a brand new spectacle filled with nebulae and dust and gas.

The whole experience was terrifying and beautiful at the same time. Maybe this is what erotic asphyxiation feels like.

Incidentally, scientists have discovered a free floating planemos, which is what a starless planet is called, only 80 light years away from Earth. To make matters more interesting, this cosmic entity is pegged to be six times more massive than the largest planet in our solar system, Jupiter.

Scientists discovered this rogue planet while poring over data pertaining to stars. Well, then what tips the data in favour of a rogue planet than a brown dwarf? The redshift data is more redder than any brown dwarf which points toward the conclusion of this object being a planet. There is no tell-tale sign of how this planet came to be a rogue. Hello Universe.

I am You.

Talking to You.

Its kind of common knowledge now that cogitant human beings are nothing but the universe becoming aware of itself, which of course makes our dear universe to be inflicted with the ultimate case of multiple personality disorder. As Chuck Palahniuk pointed out in Fight Club, "We are all part of the same compost heap".

The reason I'm talking to you, Universe, is because my soul is in torment nowadays. The recurring nightmares were normally about teeth falling out but now it's been replaced by an orbitally challenged Earth falling into Sol. Googling did allay most of the fear but still reached a dead end concerning the rising temperature of the Sun's core. Our existence depends so much on chance and we take it all for granted. Noone has a bloody clue what we're doing here, yet plenty pretend to have all the answers when its plainly clear they're just making it all up. I mean, we're putting up this cracked facade of civility.

We are monkeys, helplessly clinging onto a rock floating spirally through space, but the pinkie should always be pointed up while having your cup o' tea.

Too many??

The single bacterial cell in the petri dish that multiplies and multiplies until it ultimately makes the ecosystem(petri-dish) uninhabitable due to the accumulation of their waste products over a period of time is familiar knowledge. We live in our own petri-dish aka Gaea aka Planet Earth and have a different perception of time than the bacteria but still same arent we, alive and reproducing like theres no end.

Natural resources running out, ecosystem collapsing(e.g:global warming)....Is it really possible to fix our planet?
