Waaay too many marvel-movies(to be read as comic-book movies)....escapism feels so good i guess...but the characters are better etched than horrible hindi ones where everyones either black or white and noone in between...speaking of bollywood, all the hindi news channels seem to be hijacked by those movie makers...teasers n' behind the scenes n' whatnot...pretty sure they'll start broadcasting whole movies soon.

Indian Presidency

The Indian presidential election got interesting.....more like a public spectacle now....it was Shekhawat Vs Pratibha at first, then Kalaam was dragged into the battle n' he took off cos he knew it was gonna get ugly...and then there were 2: Shekhawat,backed by the NDA(opposition) & Pratibha, backed by the UPA(ruling)....NDA was the first to muddy the waters by pointing out the financial irregularities of Pratibha's assets, resulting in a PIL filed against her in the Delhi HC to challenge her candidature....of course now Congress(part of UPA) has now put forth allegations that Shekhawat had quashed an arrest warrant against him way back in 1976 when he took the post of chief-minister.
Remember talking about the shit hitting the fan in the previous post on presidential election...well, now the fan is in full speed..lol....you could feel this was going to happen, the drama...whatevr happens in this country thres always soo much stupid drama associated with it...why the fukk is that??.....everything has to be such a huge spectale of stupidity.
Why the hell isnt anyone supporting Kalam...meaning support from masses, not some super league of villains(refer UNPA)....during that Jessica Lal mania there was that emm....candle march??...why not one now...cos this is fukkd up man....always thought even though the odds were against him, Kalam would make a comeback but the vultures outnumbered him...seriously, thre ought to be some mass civilian movement for Kalam or the election is gonna turn out like some horrible sitcom from hell.

Yes....blissful

Dad been in hospital for 3 weeks now...had a mild stroke(spelled correctly??), right side of body paralysed but now slowly starting to improve(able to move now) with help of physiotherapy...am trying to juggle the bloody exams n' errands at the hospital...my nervous breakdown is not too far...if any poor soul is reading this please give pointers on any stress exercises :sigh:

Registered for the next semester at college, wonder how i'm gonna get thru those shitty 6 months...college consists of awesome classmates who treat you like a circus freak(no offence to circusfreaks), teachers who love you soo much that they give you such nice internal marks(20-30/50) cos they just know how easy it is to make up for it during the university exams, incredibly interesting classes which makes you want to bang your head against the wall n' scratch your eyes out, people falling in love everywhere around you n' the only one standing next to you is the disesase-ridden dog that roams around the campus, fond memories of seniors bashing in your face for looking at them wrong...awwwww cant wait for classes to start...

Furious Monsoon!!

i guess that day is here now... monsoon is in full flow err..blow actually.The winds this year are really scary...shit is happening throughout the country...even on the local roads here u can see the devastation of mother nature...tall fukkin huge trees shrewn about on the road like some T-Rex came searching for its missing egg.
No matter whatever season it is, thres always so much death associated with it...for the summer it was sunstroke n' for monsoon its 'monstroke'??...thres no term for it or at least pple arent using any, settling for 'rain-related-deaths'...so much deaths man..tough little world.
Dont kno if its the global warming propaganda but i'm a bit spookd about all this....around here every monsoon the sea comes in and takes a lot of the land....displacing all the fisher-folk etc...this is supposd to be normal for every year but its unnerving, with my place being close to the sea n' all(lol...i have nitemares about a Tsunami hitting Trivandrum)...I hope the Gods will stop 'pissing' here n' move to the drought hit areas, and please God no more tsunamis, i promise a virgin sacrifice(aliya shiraz..plss...do this for the world)

Space education going on in every news channel...how n' when will she come back, that seems to be the thought everywhere on TV...i dont think she has much to do with my country, except her father n' of course the successor to India's original space-daughter Kalapana Chawla....this is what i call sentimental value...

If you've checkd out the youtube video on the right side of my blog, you'd see a 6 yr old singing her heart out with an awesome rendition of 'Somewhere over the rainbow...'(From the Wizard of Oz??)For all the pop culture illiterate folk: the show is known as 'Britan's got talent' , which is just yet another reality talent show n' the winner/winners(?) gets to perform in front of the queen...US of A have their own version of this show, 'America's got talent'...wonder what the winners get to do ova there...certainly not to perform for the queen, prolly a studio deal or somthin...anyways the British version was not as hip(so to speak) as the american one but then this girl came on the show n' just blew everyone away....see (& hear) for yourself, click on the thumbnail....one of the judges was left in tears n' speechless(Lol, was funny)....then of course there was the inimitable S.Cowell present at the proceedings, that too in a foul mood as usual...but in the end he couldnt stop himself from praising the pitch-perfect rendition...

Never have I seen such an animated piece of Presidential machinary...remember the old school ones??...the ones who could barely move...jesus! i cant even remember any former president names...they were more like showpieces which were taken out whenever some foreign delegate came visiting....u get wat i'm sayin rt??....For years the presidential post used to be held by some mascot for an arthritis campaign, and suddenly for five whole years we had a new n' improved Prez who jus couldnt stop moving about....i guess u kno whre i'm goin with this..

WHAT IS LUCID DREAMING?

Someone asked if i was a 'lucid dreamer'....never actually thought about it till now...thre are times that i've realised that am in a dream but could never take control of the events in the dream....i just start to see MORE weird stuff after realising its a dream...best way to get such dreams is to wake up early in the mornin n' then go back to sleep, somehow thats wen i've experienced most of the psychedelic ones..
