This is another one of those short films created by PIXAR that relies on sound and visuals rather than any comprehensive dialogues to communicate with the audience.

I find it very meta on watching that small alien trying to make the right choice with his choices of operation which is very similar to how we go about in life, analysing each and every decision that we make because every one of those takes you down a different path. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it...

LOST Epilogue - The New Man in Charge 

Only very late did I come to realise that as anti-climactic as LOST turned out to be, its creators put out a short film touted as the final episode to the series. After the finale, the series found its fair share of detractors who were put off by the open ended demise to the series. 

I for one, found the series to be enthralling. Hell, anything with time travel can grab my attention. But of course the only issue is that when the island disappears and reappears, the solar system would've moved along and it would need to travel through space as well to retain any chance of appearing on earth again. Unless when they say time travel, what they automatically imply is space-time travel.
